re: Best dog to get?

Rhodesian Ridgeback.
I’ve had many dogs but this breed is by far the best.

Some Pros:
Very loving and affectionate
Wicked smart and easy to train
Very obidient
Great personality
Great with every age (Just watch the tail around babies. Can clear a table).
Little shedding
Playful
Great with other dogs
Instinctivly places himself between you and unknown human/animal.
Very protective but not aggressive - unless someone makes an aggressive move toward you. Then he destroys them.

Some Cons:
Needs lots of exercise (only a con if you’re getting older like me).
Acts like he’s starving to death even though he just ate. Can eat themselves into oblivion.
