MSU sucks too. I believe they were behind this also.
The problem, IMO, is that I won’t think anybody believes the decision was purely “for cause.” Yet, they want people to believe that their decision was as justified if the facts only support his story, that it was consensual, and not her story, that it wasn’t, and pretend that this isn’t a major story because of her story that it wasn’t consensual.
Now I know his moral clause was vague, so maybe they will have a solid case, but you can’t convince me that it’s AS solid, if the facts don’t support her story.

MSU saw this as a golden opportunity to fire an underperforming coach and not have to pay the full cost of his buyout. They 1000% know the actual facts of this “incident” do not fully match up with the context in which they are being portrayed by this woman and the media. They also fully expect to be sued by Tucker. The strategy is to NEVER let this matter get anywhere close to a trial. Rather they intend to try to settle the litigation at a much lower cost than the full cost of Tucker’s contractual buyout. In fact, I expect they already have a settlement figure in mind and will soon make an offer to Tucker, if they haven’t already. If/when settlement happens MSU will consider that a success because they got rid of a coach they don’t want at a “discount”.
Anyone who believes otherwise is either not paying attention or incredibly naive.
Tucker committed the a cardinal sin of major college football coaching. No, not pounding his pud while on the phone with some grifter….Losing
