Switch to Fidelity.
Does that require selling stocks, etfs and mutual funds first? Or can they just be transferred over?

Just a transfer

Just transfer. But, before doing it, I would open an account at Fidelity and look around. It will probably depend on what you do (trade-options-long term investing), and whether you use their (non) mobile applications.
Both Schwab and Fidelity are good options, but it really does come down to how you invest. If / when Schwab phases out StreetSmartEdge could effect that decision. I'd ask them. But same for Fidelity with Active Trader Pro which is also older.
