This is true but there is an age/generation component as well. Older generations who were not born tech savvy def struggle but the younger generations have no issues. Bottom line is cable content SUCKS outside of sports. I don’t know 1 person today younger than say 30 years old who sits on the couch and thumbs through TV channels watch cable TV. They’re all on their phones or streaming.

It’s all about having fast reliable internet service now so that we can stream content on Hulu, Netflix, Roku, YouTube, YoutubeTV and spend aimless hours on social media apps. Does anyone here have kids in their 20s who come home and turn on the 5 o’clock news to get the weather from the weather man? Hell no!!

The good old days of laying on the couch and watching cable TV are Dying each day.

Great take.

I have YouTube tv and find myself going thru their channels and am amazed at how bad the programming is.

Of course I don't watch news nor any morning shows but... how many times can you play Shawshank!

I find myself watching less and less actual tv. I assume that if I gave it up. I would not miss it. Funny story... moved from Cleveland and on sundays would go to browns bar. Lives in Tampa and became Bucs fan and assum I could go to bar and watch them. Or just get an antenna
