I had a 4x4 z71 with the 5.3. It was the slowest slug of a vehicle I ever owned. It had no power and would barely pull an empty utility trailer. Additionally the seats weee the most uncomfortable seats I ever had. I could never get them adjusted to where it felt normal to drive. I drive it for 4 years and dumped it when the prices were any high. Unless something changes, I’m done with gm products if horsepower has anything to do with it. Mine was an uncomfortable slug.

Great truck! My current one is a 2018 6.2L LTZ that runs like it stole something and get about ~21mpg on the hwy and 16 in the city. Even ordered a F250 which never was built and glad that it happened that way.
