If they had a valid warrant liberty safes saved the guy from having his safe destroyed by the FBI.

Them telling the FBI to pound sand wouldn’t have mattered, the FBI would have still gotten in the safe.

That's not the point. The point is they have a backdoor code to every safe they make. It's a massive weak spot and a middle finger to their customers.

Why would you want a safe that a manufacturer has made where the manufacturer keeps a backdoor code that violates your privacy? If the feds want in, make them earn it, even if it destroys the safe.

And it's also another reason why they should have told them to pound sand.

Yeah, be mad at the judge who authorized it. Can yo imagine if "it is in my safe and you cant get it nana nana boo boo" was a valid response

This is not a Liberty problem. As you stated, they could have just taken the safe out and cracked it open with a crowbar in about 5 minutes.
