Facts. I do AMRAP and EMOM stuff quite a bit, but I keep the weight low low low if I even use weight. I do tons of body weight stuff. If you're combining AMRAP and EMOM workouts while also always trying to up the weight it's really just a question of when you will get injured and how bad.
However, past 40 (which I am, slightly) it's really question of "when and how bad" regardless. I hurt myself going on easy three milers or just doing dead hang pullups sometimes. Such is life getting older.
CrossFit over 40 is still way way way better than getting sedentary. Just gotta be careful and and don't be scared to modify the workouts.
