Maybe JD doesn’t throw a catchable ball. Doesn’t throw open. Throws late. Throws lack zip and authority when needed. Throws lack touch when needed.

When pass plays are called his first job is to make the throws. If WRs are dropping them then throw to others but make the throws. Until running is only option he has to continue to be looking to throw when pass plays are called. That’s is what is practiced all week and that’s what must happen in the game. Game plan and practices mean nothing if not followed by the QB after one read. WRs are more involved even if not first read. It also forces the defense to defend the entire field for 4 quarters more than one read QB draws and sets up later play calls.

He is in his 5th year as a starter. I am tired of him taking so long to get comfortable enough to consistently pull the trigger. He is a freaking QB. Throw the damn ball!
