From what I hear, the Fiesta bowl gets first pick on an at large team, and their is no way the pass on USC. Texas goes to the Fiesta bowl no matter what if they don't get picked in the BCSCG.

Why do you have to bash on Utah? They have earned their current spot. fricking Alabama hasn't proven shite and hasn't proven that it deserves a BCS bowl spot. Utah would probably kick their arse, I actually hope a non BCS team comes in a whips up on the all mighty SEC.

Your post would be deemed ludicrous were it not so utterly void of substantive reasoning.

WRONG. Alabama vs Utah = Sugar bowl title for the Tide

Sugar Bowl must suck the hind tit on the bowl pecking order (lowest payout?). The Rainblows last year, the mighty Utes this year...

It's all about which bowl loses their top choice to the BCSNC game. If the SEC and Big 12 are represented in that game, then the Sugar and Fiesta get the first pick among the at-large teams to replace those teams. The Fiesta is ahead of the Sugar in the pecking order this year to replace those teams, so they're not going to pass on SC if they're available. That leaves the Sugar with either Utah or the Big Least Champs.

Not if they don't win the Big 12.

Here is why they won't play Texas/USC. For this scenario, we'll pretend UF and Oklahoma are in the NCG. Because of this, the Fiesta and Sugar lose their representatives. Therefore, they get first picks. Whichever bowl loses the #1 team (probably UF, so the Sugar) picks first, so they will probably take Bama. The Fiesta would probably take UT. Then, there is an order set before the year of the order the BCS picks the remaining at large teams. This year, it's Fiesta, then Sugar, then Orange. Out of the available at large teams, who do you think they'd take? USC. That leaves Utah in the Sugar, and BE vs. ACC in the Orange.

Nope, they're actually in the middle of the three BCS bowls that select at large teams.
