Normally I would agree with you but as the owner of multiple griddles, I can firmly say they are all lots of fun but horrendous crap in terms of quality. Spending more does not get you a better product in my experience.

I have yet to try out something truly high end from a more recognized brand, but the 2x expensive Blackstone is the same POS as the cheap one.

Also I love my blackstone and happily wire wheel and repaint the frame yearly.
