He sure is. He’s very presidential with the way he handles crisis. Some might say he’s the perfect guy for the nomination. We’ll see…….. but if so, Florida will definitely miss him.

Win/win IMO for Florida. Either he runs for president or comes back here and keeps turning Florida dem proof during first of Biden’s second term. Wish the rest of the country could be fortunate enough to have him as their leader.

This is what competent, conservative governance with no drama looks like and what a Desantis administration would exhibit. Desantis does not give two shits about the media (social or otherwise) - he just gets done what needs to get done. People see that and will vote for him in droves and elevating downballot GOPers into office.
But there's a segment of the GOP that would rather see a broke reality TV star who spends 13 hours a day on social media and got bitch-slapped by Biden and under 4 indictments be the GOP nominee so that he can lose to Biden again while simultaneously giving the Dems control of the House and Senate.

It blows my mind that some of you actually believe Trump is going to do anything about this. He couldn't do a damn thing when he WAS President and he was younger and had real power. You think he somehow wins now and then has figured it all out to solve it? Dude hasn't even done a campaign event in a few weeks in public and doesn't have any planned.
DeSantis just broke off in the middle of a hardcore sweep through Iowa to put in a bunch of 20 hour days solving this hurricane and in a few days he'll be back on the trail. Dude is a freaking machine and ruthlessly effective.

MAGA has been reduced to excuse-making.
They twist themselves in knots by arguing that Trump is 1) all-powerful and is the only one who can take on the deep state and 2) he was powerless against the deep state and that's the reason he was Fauci's lover in 2020.
