Question about Boarding pass/TSA

Checked in for my flight tomorrow morning to Orlando on Allegiant and just noticed my first name is missing the last letter. Instead of Joshua it’s Joshu.
I’ve tried to call and online chat to see if they can correct the issue but keep getting left on hold . I referred to my original booking email and my name is spelled correctly on the reservation. Will a one letter discrepancy cause me problems getting through security/TSA or should I not worry. Never had this issue before. Thanks in advance

I want to say not an issue, try reprinting at the airport in the morning? Or are they going to charge you for that?
I'd try going through TSA first with the boarding pass and if it's an issue then go back to the ticket agent as a last resort. Give yourself a little bit of extra time just in case. Also provide an update here!

Thanks. I will. I’ll try to have the original email handy to show TSA if they say anything. I don’t feel like they will unless I get Billly Badass GI Joe agent. I’ve read that a couple letters typo is usually a non issue. I’m the anxious type when it comes to crap like that though.

I would do this. Shouldn’t be an issue.
Where are you flying from? Last few times I’ve flown, they don’t even ask for or look at my boarding pass. They only scan my license.
Edit: I’m TSA precheck/global entry. I’m not sure if that affects this aspect of the process, but I doubt it.

I'm wondering if these are one off flights by allegiant?? Don't see any other flight history between these two airports. Works out great for you/other Shreveport people especially for gameday!

Yeah I didn’t know Shreveport went direct to Orlando until just recently. Much easier drive for me than Nola. Our regional airport here in Alexandria la has priced me out. Their prices were competitive for a while but not anymore.

They will just scan the bar code on it and not even pay attention to whats printed on it.

Really hope that’s the case.

My MIL is named Laura but sometimes uses Laurie or vice versa and they let her through every time.
Yes, I'm very aware that it's weird she doesn't take the time to just match her damn driver's license but this is how she operates.

Thanks y’all. I feel better.

If I have a boarding pass issue, I make sure that I have that airlines app and see if the same error is on the ticket in the app that i download. If so, I would go to the airline's check-in desk (before security) before I went through security and ask them to reissue the boarding pass. If you don't want to do that, most Security Lines are only checking driver's license and not even looking at boarding passes.

Update. TSA never asked for my boarding pass. Gate agent never asked for my ID. Breezed thru like a boss. Thanks for the replies.
