Not for the life of me would I have thought people would have turned on a guy most loved simply because Trump (and allies) told them to. Not a guy with the track record DeSantis has in Florida.

I'm sure he thought this would be a contest about job performance, policies, etc. And if Trump DID go dirty, people would see it for what it was...just bullshite being spewed in an election.

But you can see it on this board...most hard core Trump people BELIEVE the obvious lies he's said about DeSantis, so much so, that you may be right that DeSantis could potentially be done after this. Only person that helps is Trump, 'cause it sure doesn't help "us."

Maybe Rush would have seen that ahead of time, though I tend to think he'd have had more faith in our side not to buy such bullshite as this.
