special teams
a guy that can possibly be a returner gives you more value on ST than a regular gunner... so that's actually more of a point for Kirklin than Kirkwood...

Kirkwood is a big receiver.
we have our big receivers already in Thomas and Perry... and it's being proven that WRs in today's league don't need to be 6'3", 220 lbs... look at the top WR's in the league... you'll notice more 6'0", 190 lbs types

But if Shaheed is what the coaches have in mind for PR/KR (which I believe), you’d get more value out of Kirkwood for special teams/occasional substitutions to be a blocker on screens on the perimeter.

Kirkwood knows all the receiver positions. It matters to the coaches, and for better or worse he’s Mike Thomas insurance.
Think Kirklin will fill the role of Kawan baker on the PS
