Once I read that I simply could not get the word “stupid” out of my head.

But no, contingency planning isn’t stupid.



Crazier things have happened...having the game in Tiger Stadium sounds like a non-starter, but who knows.

All that being said, has anything been done about identifying an alternate site? I'd be plesantly surprised if the people in charge of running this game have thought about contingencies at this point.

At a press conference today Mike Norvell said they are monitoring it but don’t expect any impacts on the game as of now

It IS a non-starter. There is no way in HELL this game will take place in Tiger Stadium.
