At the end of the of the day the local know the land the best they should be able to do what they can

My uncle has 200 acres next to his mom/my grandmother's 200 acres in Grabow. I just called to see if he needed help and he said he was already out with a few tractors discing up land and cutting the fields really short. Said they were ready and not waiting on anyone to save them. He is surrounded by timberland but said it was all control burned last year so not a lot of fuel on the forest floor but tree tops are prime for burning.

He's not leaving and thinks they will be OK. I think he's right. His house and my grandmother's house are in the middle of pasture land though they do both have large oaks around. He has a lot of equipment to cut his own lanes or build berms.
