My sister lives outside of Merryville and I just spoke to my mom about it after I saw this thread. It is not mandatory yet. They have multiple dozers working making fire lanes trying to pinch the fire off.


A friend of mine that lives Southeast of the fire not far from Hwy 27 just posted this on FB






The fire appears to be Southeast of Merryville and close to Singer along Hwy 110 and Hwy 27. The school and the bulk of Merryville is right on Hwy 110.


There is nothing but timberland all around that area

Winds generally out of the SSE at ~5-7mph. It is good that they aren't getting much outflow wind off of TS Harold now.

My money says your sister or your friend, or both, has the last name Cooley.
