re: Anyone quit smoking cigarettes?

Cold turkey when I turned 50 in 2002. Best thing I've done for myself as far as health related. No gums, no patches, etc. just refused to light one up.

I was smoking 1 1/2 packs a day most days and over 2 a day when out and about having a few drinks shooting pool or throwing darts with friends.

I've not put a cigarette near my mouth since I gave that last pack away that night.
