That wouldn’t be for me. However, America’s Great River Loop I’m planning on doing.

There is a way to boat around the through the eastern 1/3 of the US. Great Lakes in the summer, down to the Gulf in the fall (arriving at the gulf just after hurricane season), Florida in the winter, east coast in the spring and then back into the Great Lakes.

It takes about a year no single day is huge and it can be done comfortably in a 35-50 cruiser. So ping as the vessel is under 19’2” above the water and draws less than 4 feet or so.

I’m planning on it with a friend and his wife. Two boats so we each have our individual privacy but can hang out on evenings we choose.
