It’s all case by case. Depends on the level of golfer you are. If you’re new then I’d just go to some retail place. It will be good enough. If you’re serious about your game then it’s extremely valuable. Idk why people get so upset over the pricing. They have their model and it works for them. It’s all A la carte. Stock option shafts provided by club manufacturers have to be paid for. They are getting heads and shafts separately. Do i agree with it? No. But they don’t force you to but from them. You’re paying for a fitting not clubs. They show you information and numbers. If you like what you see they hand your specs along with a price to buy from them. They will also work with you on a budget to help you. You’re more than free to grab your specs and buy straight from most manufacturers. I tend to buy all my irons and wedges from the manufacturer and buy my drivers straight from them. Again it all depends on what you’re fit in but i recommend you not but immediately. Do your homework and price is out online. You get fit into a Projext X shaft in irons or driver then you are better off buying yourself from the manufacturer. Things like ctaper, some graphite shafts, s taper, some tour issue dg shafts the price isn’t all that different with irons from CC to the manufacturer. I paid the same amount for my Tsi3 with la golf shaft from them than i would have online or from anywhere. So again it just all depends on what you get fit into.
