The "Bettis Super Bowl" was WrestleMania III...when the NFL tried to rejuvenate shitehole Detroit.

They gave Bettis the key to the City, a SB to a relatively new stadium, NFL trying to inject life into a shitty economic wasteland with "Jerome is from Detroit" nauseating constantly reported narrative....so the fricking Lions were winning if the Steelers won it.
Shite Detroit got more paise than fricking Pittsburgh for the Steelers winning that Super Bowl...because, ya know...Jerome is retiring and he's from Detroit.
Has this, where somebody's from ever been a storyline to such, who cares degree? To any degree? Ever mentioned?
