Is Heard really making it that obvious like Campbell and Jones did last year? I figured this would eventually be the starting OL with Jones going inside where he will play in the NFL. I’ll be impressed if Heard unseats Mikes Frazier this season because Frazier is no slouch himself.

If Heard does make Emery slide over to guard and start at tackle, LSU may just end up having the best offensive line of all time. I can't recall a time that the offensive line was this young and had players this talented.

Heard might’ve gotten some reps with 1st team today, but our starting 5 are clearly Campbell, Turner, Frazier, Dellinger, & Jones.

I’ll take experience on the o-line against fsu, heard should get a ton of time the first half of the season. However no need to move jones anytime soon.

They are testing heard out there but he isn’t ready yet. S Jones got the best of him several times. We have 2-3 solid RG options w Lunsford, Frazier and Martinez. I’m expecting E Jones to stay at RT for now.

Let’s give Heard a TE # just to see the carnage of running behind Frazier, Jones, and Heard for 10 or so snaps a game.

Just because he saw time with the 1s at practice doesn’t mean he’s ready to unseat anyone.

BK is too smart and too well thought out to not allow 2nd string lineman get experience with the 1s on occasion in case of injury. Can’t have Heard never playing with the 1s and expect him to play well if called upon. Same goes for Emory Jones if he never practices at guard but is expected to just slide on in if any injury occurs
