If a person is looking at the numbers both Trump and Biden’s vote totals are wild. And I mean wild as in unbelievable.
Almost as many votes were tabulated in the 2020 election (I did not say voters voted) as there were registered voters in 2016.
157.6M registered voters in 2016
155M votes tabulated in 2020.

Even with 2020 likely driving higher turnout the numbers do seem extremely high

I have studiously avoided referring to the Totals as VOTEs - I have been calling them BALLOTs for two years now - the VOTES are totally arcane ideas - all that matters are the BALLOTs.
