Would think 1969 Arkansas loss to Texas gotta be up there.
Basically was the National Championship and still holds the record for the highest television ratings in the history of CFB.
They blew a 14 pt 4th quarter lead at home with Dick Nixon in the stands.
Honestly, there is no other answer than this.
Texas converts a ridiculous long 4th down pass late in the 4th as a wishbone team, or Arkansas wins a second championship in the 60s. Broyles does that, and he very well may become one of the all time greats. No telling how he builds off that.
But, that loss, changed everything.
One play was the difference. Nothing more heartbreaking than that.
