From what I understand is that you still need to enter the Global entry information into your frequent flyer account (Delta, United, AA, Southwest, etc.) and the system will recognize it and issue the pre-check mark when you check-in.

The system does not look for your information unless you provide it during your booking.

This. Log into your account(s) and save your KTN in your profile.

this. You have to tell the airlines your KTN . They won’t look it up for you.
