Wish that frickin wolf have eaten him right there in the valley.

BTW, if you haven't been up to the Lamar Valley, treat yourself and go. If was one of the most amazing experiences. Saw a pack of wolves make their way across in chest deep snow, then let out a howl that filled valley. Still gives me chills as I write this.

Agreed. We went in June and while we only saw Bison and Elk, for anyone from down in our area that's not used to anything but flatness, it's hard to describe the beauty of driving into those gigantic valleys. Damn, can't wait to go back to that area again but in the Fall before the first snowfall.
