Ppl don’t give a specific reason, they just say good for stopping them.

Reality it’s not their property, most large businesses don’t want you stopping shoplifters, and will fire you if you do.

I’m against shoplifters (that is security job), but do you think those employees will get rewarded or fired?

yup. Places like Walmart include in their budget loss of product because of theft. That TV costs them a lot less than a lawsuit....and that's why I would be absolutely SHOCKED to find out that dude was able to keep his job.

And honestly....frick Walmart in general. I still say they're a major reason for the downfall of small, family-owned business in this country. I saw it in my hometown of Tupelo. Walmart opened a supercenter not far from me and within 6 months....the corner grocery store we always shopped at closed down. Other small mom and pop stores soon followed.
