All proceeds from game at LSU would have gone to UF…after event staff get paid of course

Would all the additional revenue local business gained be sent to the businesses in Gaines that lost revenue?

From my perspective, y'all would have everything to gain and UF everything to lose, and y'all are pissed because you couldn't take advantage of brother conference school in an emergency.

If the situation is ever reversed, and a hurricane is bearing down on Red Stick or it's proximity, I hope UF would say "do whatever you need to do, we are here for you if you need help", and not try and take advantage of the situation for their own benefit.

“Would all the additional revenue local business gained be sent to the businesses in Gaines that lost revenue?”

Probably not the best place to have this discussion but the frustration from LSU fans with this is that LSU lost a home game over a 2 year span because Florida failed to be proactive in moving the game. LSU offered to play the game in multiple places and multiple times. With the reschedule and going to Florida away in back to back years LSU local businesses and economy was the one affected with the lost revenue from a lost home game. LSU cancelled a home game against a non-SEC opponent that was never rescheduled due to the scheduling mess.

Under the common sense approach we would have just swapped the locations of the 2016 and 2017 games. The Gainesville businesses would have made up the revenue then.
