Agreed BUT if your organization *requires* abstinence then you are just begging for pedophiles and other deviants to join ur organization .

Also, as a recovering Catholic myself, who had friends when I was a kid who were brutally raped by authority figures in the Church- little innocent kids.. I say we shut down the Church, or at the very least tax the everloving shite out of them .

This has been attempted many times in the past, even in the 20th Century - many times in the 20th Century. Even in Mexico in the 1920s - the Mex Govt hunted down priests and executed them.

IMHO:

It WILL happen again in the future, probably even here in the USA. The Catholic Church will be subjected to Official Government attempts to put it out of existence by any means necessary.

MANY of our fellow American Christians will cheer these efforts very enthusiastically. We should hold no naive delusions about this.
