When was the last time Ohio State did anything worthwhile in basketball, or baseball.
Of course i know the weight that football carries, but there are other sports in college, and without football, those sports don't exist. I"m not a welfare guy either, but i'd prefer to see Oregon State remain a power in baseball. I want to see Kentucky and Kansas stay an elite basketball program. I don't want to lose what's great about college basketball and baseball, b/c a bunch of morons only want to watch the top 30 or so college football teams play and keep all the money and tell all the other schools to go frick themselves.

AGAIN...You are missing the ENTIRE point of realignment. The networks, in the grand scheme of things, dont give two flying fricks about basketball or baseball...or these moves wouldnt be happening. FOOTBALL moves the needle...period. So again, when was the last time those schools had any consistent and national relevance? But yet, they are making exactly what Ohio State does because we are a cool big brother to them.

and you are missing the point i'm making. No shite Football moves the needle.
Michigan State needs football money to stay an elite college basketball team. Michigan State football needs Ohio State and Michigan and Penn State to bring in that big tv money. Kentucky basketball needs Alabama and UGA and LSU to bring in that money. College baseball in the SEC has basically become double A baseball b/c of football money.
Football money from the big schools is what is helping make March Madness awesome, and it's bringing college baseball more and more relevance.

what fun do you think college football would be if only USC, OSU, Michigan, PSU, Bama, LSU, UGA, UF, Tex, OU, Clemson, FSU, Notre Dame had all the money? You think Purdue has enough money now to have any chance at upsetting OSU in a football game. DO they have enough money to compete in basketball?

Do you not understand what you are saying? You're basically saying you want to create basically a league of elite college football teams only, without a single frick given to the rest of college football or any other college sport. I don't give a shite about UNC Lacrosse, but i'd prefer they have a team and enjoy success b/c the Clemson/FSU game brought in a ton of money.
You act like OSU is struggling for money. Again, i'm not a fan of wealth sharing, but in this instance, i am, b/c i like the college product outside of just college football and i dont' want to see it go away.
