Moved and took our jobs with us. Have a small mortgage at 5% now. Regret nothing. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Quality of life is so much better. Now family is considering possible relocation to be near us.

Wait a minute - you could double your current salary and still take 5-7 years of increases to get to $250k? You know this is the OT, right? Nobody here makes less than $350k. Most of us pay our butlers more than that.

To the guy who said it would take +$30k to move to NOLA, you better be making $5k/yr for that increase to make sense.

It would take hundreds of thousands more for me to live there.
