Flying into Dallas LOV early on a Sunday in early September but staying at the embassy suites by DFW for work. Looking for a breakfast/coffee place then a sports bar that has NFL on for that Sunday. Not sure the distance between the two airports but I guess something closer to where I'm staying since I will have my bag.

If my memory serves me, that Embassy Suites is on the north side of DFW and I can't think of any great places that fit the bill. On the south side in Arlington you have Texas Live next to the Rangers ballpark which should have all of the games on.
If you want to stay close to Love Field I can give you a long list. It's a pretty good distance between the two airports.
Brunch:
Breadwinner's (Multiple Locations)
Sadelle's (Highland Park)
Dream Cafe (Uptown)
Haywire (Uptown)
Standard Pour (Uptown)
Sports Bar:
The Nodding Donkey (Uptown)
Christie's (Lower Greenville)
Hero (Victory Park, next to the American Airlines Center)

Assuming you’re staying at the one in Irving on 183.
Some may laugh, but there’s a Whataburger right next to your hotel. I love their breakfast especially since they brought back the jalapeño cheddar biscuit. Their pancakes are solid and they cook the eggs fresh to order.
There’s got to be a great hole-in-the-wall breakfast taco place. Check with the front desk/concierge.
Whether you’re staying at the ES on 114 or 183, there’s a ton of stuff along MacArthur Blvd.
Le Peep at O’Connor and O’Connor Ridge isn’t bad.
La Madeleine at MacArthur & Royal.
Modern Market at MacArthur & PGB.
There’s a place called Jam & Toast at MacArthur & 114, but I’ve never been there.
First Watch at Belt Line & 635.
Bar Louie, Thirsty Lion, & Yard House by the Toyota Music Factory Pavillion should all have a ton of TVs tuned to whatever you want to watch.
Buffalo Wild Wings, Boston’s & Twin Peaks @ MacArthur & 635
Grapevine:
Cracker Barrel. Redefined Coffee House. Main Street Bistro. Lone Star Cafe. Eatzi’s. Original Pancake House.

And Green Gator, they are all practically next to each other so if you don't like one, go to the next one. There is a Hooters near the Embassy if thats your thing. You're not too far, 10 minutes maybe, from 5 or 6 breweries in Dallas. Outfit is small, Community is a huge modern place, Pegasus is small, Peticolas is big, Texas Ale project is big and for the best beer Celestial which is small and hip.

Old West in Grapevine is a great breakfast spot. The Gaylord has a decent sports bar too.

Put your hotel address n google maps then expand it and you can see all restaurants

There is more northwest (Grapevine) and northeast (valley ranch) of DFW than just south unless you want to drive all the way to Arlington. Just hit up google for bars and restaurants but there’s wild wings, BJs Brewhouse etc. Mexican Sugar is great but not really a sports bar.
