I've lived in both Germany and Italy and while they are great to visit, and both have good people (and some not so friendly....more Italy IMO) but no I would not want to live there or any other European countries permanently.

Even with our faults and the way we are heading as a nation, we are still undoubtedly the best country on the planet.

What was so bad about them? The beautiful country? The non dumbass drivers? The lack of any violent crime? The almost flawless infrastructure? The fresh and healthy food?

How in the year 2023 Americans still think they live in the best country on the planet is absurd. You can say you're just brainwashed into liking this way of living in the states, but it is by no means the greatest. People bitch about the long winter, but in Baton Rouge, it's not like the 8 month long summer is any better.

Sure there are some places in the US of A that aren't massive shitholes, but they are few and far in between. After driving/taking public transport in countries like Austria and Switzerland, I don't understand how you can come back to Louisiana and go "yeah this isn't 3rd world at all".

Hell we can't even buy raw milk here
