I think it really comes down to some people just didn’t realize how dirty the game really was.

I never thought our government was so corrupt until Trump won. The establishment took everything to new levels never thought imaginable to undermine his Presidency. Honestly most of the things that have happened I would have only thought could be exaggerated fiction for a TV show or movie.

I’m surprised so many people were unaware of how corrupt DC was. I think Trump’s made it riskless to be more open about it, but permanent Washington has a long history of corruption and misdeeds. I mean, a presidential election was likely stolen 60 years ago, the winning president was likely assassinated by his own CIA 3 years later, and 6-7 years after that the government shot up a demonstration on a college campus over a BS war. A few years later a president was shitcanned in disgrace, followed by an oil shock and inflation and interest rates that make today’s look like good times, as much as we’re led to believe it, we aren’t living in unprecedented difficult times.

I don’t know if it’s a generational thing or maybe social media, but we seem to think everything that happens to us now is remarkable in a historical perspective.

Think of this - blacks today are convinced they don’t have the same freedoms whites have, that they’re oppressed, suffer under a white supremacy and oh by the way, are hunted by cops. We know that’s crazy, but blacks have a whole industry, a monolithic media, and about 70% of government and politicians telling them what to believe all that BS.

What are the chances blacks (and climate freaks) are the only ones being convinced of a bullshite narrative to benefit the narrative’s framers?
