I generally hate these statements.


He was basically a practice squad member when he first entered the league and id expect after 13 years in the nfl youd be better than after 3 years in college.

Plus lsu was loaded on D when he was here. He won a national title with LSU and even led the sec in fumble recoveries that year.

I don’t think you have a good grasp on this topic, but it probably isn’t worded the best. I think what the OP means is those that had underwhelming careers at LSU relative to expectation, and ones you wouldn’t expect to stick in the NFL at all, but end up having long careers.

Al Woods was a 5 star out of High School and he never got close to those expectations. His 13 year NFL career is impressive.
