I don’t know how to handle the news. Don’t know if I’m in denial, but can’t help but to think they are putting us on somehow. I don’t even know why I’m posting this here beyond hoping some of you have been in a similar scenario only to find the Drs were FOS

I really would not want to believe the doctors would lie about all of this. It's an awful situation and there is no good way to have to break that news to you.

Im sorry for you and your wife, no parent deserves this, it is part of the circle of life though if that is any consolation at all, which I doubt it is

With tech as advanced as it is these days I would say chances are minimal that the doctors are FOS. My wife and I lost our first kid because at 20 weeks we go in for an ultrasound and they find no amniotic fluid. No fluid turns into no kidneys and a litany of other issues, BUT he still had a heartbeat. We were told he would maybe live throughout pregnancy but die within minutes of being born. He could’ve also been crushed to death within the womb as time moved on and become disfigured. He was diagnosed with Potter’s Syndrome.

Ultimately we chose to do a medically induced abortion. It was the worst experience of our lives and I don’t envy your situation. We decided we didn’t want our child to suffer. I don’t have the perfect advice for you, but I would consider all options. I’m sorry you’re going through this.
