There is more to it than that. The thirst/dehydrated feeling was a symptom.
ETA: And I think the article stating 4 bottles in 20 minutes may be a bit misleading. I think the family could have been focusing on that one drinking episode. I bet she drank even more than that. They may not have seen it.
Weird, though, and surely there will be an autopsy, right?

Maybe we should look at why she was trying to pound water because she was clearly unwell.
