It isn't good for fans.
Its only good for TV money.
Conferences back in the early 90s made more sense geographically and you could actually reasonably attend games.
But oh well.

This is definitely more of an issue for other conferences.
But at least for the SEC Austin and Norman are about the distance of the average SEC road trip for LSU.
