LMPD has its moments but this was as good of a shoot as it gets.

Also, the Dad’s excuse for the kid explains SOOOO much.

quote:

Hours after the shooting, a man named Mark Jaggers reached out to WDRB News. He said his son, Mark Jaggers Jr., wasn't trying to carjack anyone and that he thought the car was dumped off near their Portland home and wanted to take it for a joyride. When he opened the door, two undercover officers were inside.

Because wanting to joyride in an allegedly abandoned car is acceptable.

WDRB

Also, Portland is basically the white hood here. Some dumbass trying to jack a car with cops in it absolutely tracks for that area.

I want to say something that rhymes with a certain Indian religion + common English breakfast food, but I got banned for it last time.

SO he just assumed the car had the keys in it so he could joy ride in it?
It appeared he assumed there would be people inside of it considering he was wearing a ski mask and opened the door with a gun pointing at the driver.

shut up dad. does this moron realize this was on video?

So this law professor father is trying to deflect the fact that this was an obvious robbery.. by saying he was just simply trying to steal the car?

He came up to the car from the front. There is this gigantic piece of transparent glass facing front appropriately named a windshield. He could see a person inside easily in the daytime.
