Any state that has been under majority Democrat rule since its founding is going to have high taxes with little return for its citizens. The goal of every Democrat run area is to kill the middle class. LA has been excelling at this now for decades. Combine that with JBE and the idiot mayors in our largest cities, all of which are bought and paid for by lawyers, and here we are.
