Unless there is physical, verbal, sexual, or drug abuse, adultery, or complete disrespect, I don't believe in separation or divorce. I believe two people who committed to one another when things were great also committed to one another when things aren't so great. Unfortunately, we live in a throwaway society and marriage is no different. Vows today, for many, aren't worth the paper they are written on.

It's much easier to work on a relationship with the other spouse still in the house than outside of the house.

But no matter what I believe, she believed something different or was advised differently, which in the end, it was still her decision. I don't agree with it, and I probably will never understand it. But I do my best to accept it because that's really the only choice I have to keep my peace.
