Thanks for input. Most everything I’m seeing in Carmel is a grand or so over my budget but I’ll continue to look. How’s the Cannery Row area of Monterey?

I didn’t go there, but the entire area is nice. I stayed in the Best Western years ago. It’s in the main part of Carmel.
It’s honestly not a bad location. I could see the water (way off through the trees) and it had a gas fireplace. $409 in September.
