Sorry Wahoo..: your logic doesn’t stand up to scrutiny considering how much money Mets are paying for Scherzer to play for Arlington.
Verlander’s value his greater than Max’s at this point. That’s why Max went first, he was the cheaper get.

What do you give up for a 40 year old pitcher, and what do expect the Mets to kick in ? Is it Meyers and/or Jults plus any players in the system not named Gilbert.
