Will be going to Disneyland in November and will have a day or two in Los Angeles, so was looking for any recommendations in LA. Will be my wife and I, our daughter, and in-laws so not really looking for anything way off the wall. Just a casual in and out (not the burger place) sort of meal. "Fast casual" restaurants I guess?

Zankou Chicken.
Sahag's Basturma
Han Bat Sul Lung Tang
Oki-Dog

Dozens more. LA has amazing fast casual ethnic food.

go to the farmer's market at the Grove or maybe the Grand Central market downtown (in that case, check out the Bradbury across the street). Options for everyone and other stuff to look at in the process. Also .. eating at a famous food truck would do the trick. Roy choi and the like. Some legit Vietnamese in Orange county as well.

Zankou is fine ... but not an exciting prospect especially if you live in BR where there are better options in that world.

most importantly ... go to the food board next time.

most people go to Zankou for the shawarma, kabobs, hummus etc. Yes, chicken is in the name but it is really a Mediterranean spot at heart. With good garlic sauce. And a chain. I'd put Albasha up against any day.

There surely are more unique and interesting options. And that's coming from someone who actually had Zankou last week! (my lady's kids love it)
