Now that the window is closed, I really like the players we brought in, though I think of Endo is more stop gap/short term/squad... Who knows, the sample size is way too small, so lets see if he can get us through to Jan for a reassessment..

We know the other two are class, but I think RG has the talent to be as good... Let's hope Klopp (and Virg) can get the best out of him, I have high hopes now that he's a red

Overall, I think 7/10... Mainly on the strength of the incomings and clearing out some of the old guard... If we would have gotten a younger, higher quality DM (Doucoure/Andre) and a LCB (Hincapie/Ignacio), it would have been a 10/10..

If this summer was the midfield rebuild, next summer has to be defense... oh and I imagine Sarah will go then too... We should be lining up his replacement in January (Bakoyoko from PSV?)

Anyway, here's to getting back on track this season... top 4, a domestic cup and the elusive Europa League title

Also, on Salah.. this window, how much is too much to pass up?

£200mm all up front? This would be where the decision gets to be a no-brainer if I was in charge.. and could pretty much fund the complete Klopp 2.0 rebuild..

Pros:
Thats a lot of cash for a 31 yr old, though still playing at a top level

RW: Diaz, Szo, Elliot, Doak until January..
LW: Jota, Gakpo, Diaz
CF: Nunez, Jota

Cons:
No time to replace
The PR hit for FSG would be tremendous (even though it would be good business)

Also, I have no doubt that part of this late bid as the PIF trying to unsettle us in the EPL, since they own NUFC... Make that offer in June/July otherwise..

With the late addition of Gravenberch I give us an 8/10 this window. A Centerback signing away from 10/10. We completely rebuilt the midfield and Dominic and Mac are stars. A healthy Thiago, Jones and Bajcetic and we’re deeper in the midfield than we’ve ever been under Klopp. Matip leaves for a younger CB this offseason first and foremost. Then we add a Rightback and Forward with our Salah $.
