It was through that tariff fight that I became VERy familiar with the 301 tariff and did testify twice in the tariff hearings at the office of the trade representative.
Hearing what Trump was saying vs what was actually in the directive is when i came to know he is a lying POS. I voted for him but never will again. When they were talking about intellectual property rights and forced partnerships they were talking about things in China US multinationals were facing trying to build businesses and invest in China. The farm imports and stuff were trival. It was a fight for US multinationals and banks.
