What are the "must have" apps for saltwater and offshore fishing in La.? What do you use and find useful?
I thought for sure LDWF would have a regulations app out there, which would be awesome to have, but I can't seem to find one.
But then too, I suck at this stuff.

The app you are looking for is called "Fish Rules". It has a library of fish that are local to whatever area you are fishing and gives you the season, size limit, bag limit, and other regulations on each individual specifies. It also gives pictures to help identify the fish as well.
I try to open the app before leaving the dock so that it gets the latest regulation updates and allows you to use the app without cell service once you get out there.

I wasn't aware of an all-in-one app, I have three separate ones for GA, SC, and FL, from their respective DNR's. Is the all-in-one app free? I'd still have to have all the individual apps for showing my license and boater reg and harvest record and tags and other shite, so I don't know if an "all in one" would even do me any good since I already have all the others and need them anyway. But if LA doesn't have such an app, I can see how it would come in handy.
I also use SailFlow for wind/weather predictions in coastal situations, it's less useful inland. There's a free version and a pro version. The free version is fine but clunky.

Salty Solutions & Windfinder for inshore.
I compare Windfinder with NOAA marine forecast to look for patterns when venturing offshore (I have a small boat).
