With modern corporate farming, this has only gotten worse.

as stated before: we know more about crop rotation and soil health so modern technology/ knowledge would prevent a “dust bowl “scale famine . We could grow most of our food indoors if we wanted to.
Hell, we grow plants in outdoor space now.
