I doubt it, but it will unlock some crazy stuff.

Quantum computing would become exponentially easier and that would unlock some interesting things

Well,.... there are a tremendous amount of technological "what ifs/maybes", that would require a huge amount of energy to attempt.

Room temerature superconducters, if they can be created reliably, is a major step towards that.
