If Oregon beats Oregon St, then the PAC10 would only send one team to the BCS games (USC to the Rose) instead of two (OSU to the Rose and USC at large), so they would not get to split the revenue within the conference that the second BCS bowl would bring in.

imo, this is one of the reasons CFB is so great. Oregon would probably love nothing more than to frick Oregon State out of a Rose Bowl game, even if it costs their own program $1.7 million or so.
